Об исполнителе (группе)
The Dizzy Man's Band from De Zaan was founded in 1969 under the name Take Five. In 1970, they changed their name and recorded their first records. The first line-up consisted of: Jacques Kloes (v, ex-Rocking Friends, Black Ventures and Baby Rockers), Herman Smak (o,p), Dick Buysman (b, ex-Jollies and Scott Walker), Dirk van der Horst (g, ex-Teckels), Klaas Versteeg (fl,s, ex-Chester Card and Regulation), Karl Kalf (tr, cello), Joop Tromp (dr, ex-Names & Faces) and roadie Bob Ketzer (voc. and antics, ex-Chester Card). This line-up kept going until 1973, when a number of changes followed: 1973: Dick went to Lucifer and was replaced by Jan Visser (b, ex-George Baker Selection, went soon to Beehive) and Hans de Zwart (b, ex-Jigsaw). 1974: Karl Kalf left the group; he later formed the horn section of the Golden Earring together with Bertus Borgers. 1975: Hans de Zwart went to the Steve Allet Band; his successor was Frans Meinecke (b, ex-Brandy). 1978: Jacques Kloes went solo; the Dizzies were shifting their sound more towards hard rock with their newly-recruited vocalist Steve Allet (ex-Antilope and Steve Allet Band) at the forefront. Joop Tromp went to Spryng and was replaced by Ton Dijkman (dr, ex-Spaak). 1981: Steve Allet and Frans Meinecke (from Shithouse Band) parted ways with the band. The new line-up consisted of: Rini Oudhuis (v, ex-Bram Vermeulen & Toekomst, replaced Yolande Siffels (ex-Amphora)), Toth Zandu (Taxfree and Match), Dirk van der Horst (g), Erwin van Ligten (b, ex-Spaak), Ton Dijkman (dr, also in Tony's Egg), Bob Ketzer (v) and Herman Smak (o,p). In 1982 the line-up included Rini, Dirk, Erwin (g), Ton, Bob and Jan-Hans Berg (b)
